Let's Go Mets

I can relax a little until playoffs start. It should be fun.
The boys are over by their mother's this weekend so it's a quiet Sunday morning. It's nice to have that once in a while. I can do what I want without the worry of bothering someone else. Currently listening to Steve Hackett's To Watch The Storms. I know they would not like this, it's very different from what they listen to, and especially as loud as I have it.
I received this bracelet from Chris' mother. I'm not one for wearing jewelry or other stuff. No chains, watches, rings or bracelets but in this case I feel I have to. So it will stay on until he comes home for good.
I also received a picture from him. He also told me there's a DVD video of their platoon coming out of the tear gas hut. They go into the hut with gas masks on and then remove them for two minutes. I've seen a video of this when Joseph Pierce went through his training and it's not pretty.
Something about pimply faced young men and Army uniforms just doesn't seem quite right. Maybe it's just because this is not where I expected to be.
Yes, they're back!!! Sean and Scott have been back since last Wednesday. Anybody want some kids? I'm kidding of course. It's good to have them back. At times it was too quiet here. They head for school tomorrow, Sean a junior in high school and Scott to 8th grade. They're smart kids so they should have a good year, although both have a tendency to laziness, so I have to stay on top of them. Hey, I have to have some fun, right?
