Let's Go Mets

Finally. After a few days the Mets have clinched their division. The last time was 1988. I've been a fan since Memorial Day, 1962 when I was the Mets lose a doubleheader to the LA Dodgers. My father took me to that game. He was a long time Brooklyn Dodger fan, but when the ran away from the city he was waiting for a National League team to come back to New York. He would have loved to have seen them win that one but they were so bad that year. But I became a fan that day and have been through the good and bad times since then. I hope they can keep playing the way they have been all year.

I can relax a little until playoffs start. It should be fun.
